Ah, don't do the Lighten blend mode when you do Gussian Blur. It makes those white splotches everyhwere. Good job on the sky though! You did a good job manipulating it but the text ruins it. Instead, put a moon there or something.

i like the parts that are quite bright, it makes is more interesting, and anyway, i think thats excellent, the effects you added and add a moon like MQ said, that would look cool, GJ on your first big on, i like it, (apart from Paradise lost text)
