Msn/Windows Live

Ok whenever I try to sign in msn or windows live messenger (whichever one is installed)

It keeps sending me error reports. I've even run a system recovery but nothing's changed, its really frustrating me!

What should I do?

Sign out and close messenger, then go Start -> control panel -> add/remove programs -> windows live messenger -> change -> repair -> go through that -> reboot system -> try again.

I dunno what will work if that wont.
