By reading the first sentence of your thoughts I can tell you that's not going to happen. The holiday updates are f2p aswell, they don't have houses. Not to mention some p2p (myself for example) do not have houses...

Although those are some good ideas.

imo, they should re release the santa hat as a holiday event non tradeable item. then nobody would want the rare santa anymore because it would be useless. anyone who has a santa can still have it with pride, but other, less off players could still have one, maybe slightly different in graphics or something, without having to raise however many dosens of mill they cost.

people could still own the rare santa hat, and sell it, but it would eliminate its need and jagex could eliminate their worries about the rares like those...

however, most of the people that own a santa would become increadibbly angered if this happened because their santas would be worth dirt after that (with no way to distinguish them from standard sight)

I personally would like a Santa Outfit

but i don't like the idea of a non-treadable santa... that'd make me lose so much money lol. =(

I like the idea of having a tree in your house and Santa comes. In F2P they could have it in varrock with a table beside the tree for the cookies.

im p2p too and still dont have a house either lol. this would make me want to get one, however. and yes, they could have a table in varrok and the tree could be there, so it could be f2p as well

I like Sephiroth's idea of santa outfit, but that would increase the price of a santa hat rapidly!

I think that for a few days it should be snowing in the villages... only on high detail though

thing is, that is exactly the opposite of what jagex wants. that is why they started making items non trade-able, and even further why they made them non drop-able. they will never intentionally or knowingly do anything to raise the price of the rares. if it didn't cause them to lose a great portion of their players, i'm sure they'd delete the items from peoples inventories, or launch a campaign to buy and destroy all of them. it is the same reason why they dont edit the items to be non tradeable.

i will never own a santa just for the sake of owning one. i dont care about the rares for their rarety, just their looks.

snowing would kick but. i think they should add weather all the time as a permanent upgrade, but snow on christmas would kick but.

Sounds good, but the members bit will probably not happen, as it is for both P2P and F2P.
