Well after having my level 98 main banned 6 months ago, and working EXTREMELEY hard on my new main which is now level 106, i just got a temp bann. Thank christ its a temp bann but the reason is honestly OBSERED. My friend was PRIVATE MESSAGING me, i simply said "just go google it lol". and F@gex(jagex) says i was "advertising." i tried to appeal it but all they said was re-read the rules... blah blah blah.

Meaning that you can't send people links. I stated this in another thread, but even sending them a harmless link can lead to harm done to them or their runescape account.

EDIT: And the rule is kind of straight forward. It doesn't state that exceptions are made for what you deem helpful links.

Jagex can't banned you unless someone report you. <- your friend my have reported you.

id say 10 million words per day on the chat, Jagex can't track anyone unless someone report you. you have been betrayed. :cry:

nah my friend is a total noob, (started 5 days ago) and has no clue how 2 report people, and he is a Real Life friend.

I would have thought that technically you cant get in trouble for saying "Google" now because its been made a verb. Therefore, it wouldnt be advertising would it?
