Whats the fastest between Iron Knives and Cannonballs?

If its cannonballs, do you buy the Bars, or you buy the Ores?

Making cballs is faster than making iron bars but slower as smithing them.
If you do both making cballs is a bit slower than making iron knives but way more profitable.
