Something that I think we should be allowed to do in construction is move your rooms around manually, like by a 2D grid system.
When you start to build your house, and add more and more rooms, not very many players actually plan out a layout of how they want their house to be like. There are even some people too lazy to read the manual and not realize what the angle of room will be. And as the rooms get more and more complex, they become more and more expensive. I spend 500 000 gold coins switching 2 rooms around because I couldn't access another room as easily.
That's money well-wasted, if you ask me.
What we need is the ability to directly reposition rooms and keep the stuff we built inside. I want to move my throne room and oubliette, but I've already spent a few million on both and I don't want to have to start all over again.
So here's my idea:
We should be allowed to talk to the real estate agent, tell him we want to reposition our rooms, pay a fee (well, of course), then get supplied with a 2D map of the labeled rooms we have so far. 3 tabs on the side switch the map to display the upper and lower floors.
How it works is we take select a room one at a time. Once selected, it's put in a seperate "building box" with all its current furniture, where one can rotate it if needed. Then you can select which floor to place it, and click to where we can place it, thereby placing it.
Repeat as much as necessary until the house is rearranged to the player wishes, and only for a small fee instead of wasting millions on the same project. Saves money, saves time, and saves furniture.
And, of course, you'll have to also remember to place certain rooms connecting different floors, like quest and skill halls, above each other. A stair icon will appear on each floor with an arrow and a number to show which floor these rooms are on and whether its stairs are going up or down.

FAQ:
- What if I lose connection with a room still in my building box?
The room will return to the place it origionally was. However, you will still have to pay the real estate agent again to reaccess the room-moving grid.
- Will I need a construction level to use this?
Well, you need a construction level for the rooms, so not really. Maybe the only requirement, aside from the coins, is to have at least 10 rooms or something.
- Can I place my rooms anywhere? Like, a space apart to make a bunch of sheds?
No, they have to be next to one another. Some highlighted lines on each room, showing where its doors are, will be available to help you connect each room.
- What will happen if I don't place my quest hall and my skill hall, if they are connected, above one another?
Then you can't access the second floor. The stairs remain, but it will give the same message saying that a room to connect them isn't there. Revisit the real estate agent and get that fixed.
- What makes you think the real estate can actually move rooms?
He can move whole houses, can't he? He can also completely change the type of walls and surroundings in an instant. I think being able to transport a room from one area to the next by the same magic should be possible.
- What makes you think that Jagex can actually pull this off?
They've made Construction so far in a similar manner. I think that just by adding a furniture code saying that if a room has a certain type of object in it, it is saved in the same way that your house is saved right now. Moving rooms over shouldn't effect other rooms except in the stairs method and that second floor rooms shouldn't be placed overtop of nothingness.
Plus they're very resourceful. When have they disappointed you before?

On top of this, I think there's a few other things we can do with:
- A supporter counter for each post. So instead of gathering names, a player can simply "check-off" the "I support this suggestion" button to increase the counter by one. Makes it easier for us AND the Jagex Team, who can simply check here every so often and see which post has the most supporters instead of everyone having to bump theirs all the time.
- I think the kitchen also needs a churn.

There. By now, my suggestion is probably on the 12th page of the suggestions forum. Since I know that this forum is a lot more friendly to suggestions, tell me what you guys think.
