Favorite Band or Bands?

Rainbow, Queen, and Led Zeppelin are my top 3 right now.

The difference between most modern "punk-rock" bands (especcially Linkin Park) and them is that they're not talentless hacks who can't play together at all, and can barely write a song. How they became famous is far beyond me.

Linkin Park isnt punk rock...

They are Alternative Rock. And if you ever listened to their music it just isnt all Rock. They mix new sounds in with their music to make it sound different. If you take the time to listen to all of their CD's starting with: Hybrid Theory EP and ending with Meteora you'll see nothing of theirs really sounds alike.

Excluding Collision Course all of their albums dont repeat any music...

What are you, 55? Ill give you the fact that those bands are good, but dont insult other peoples music when you know nothing about it. If you can honestly say youve listen to all of Linkin Parks music and hated it all then fine..Ill accept your opinion. However, dont go around critisizing new music when you dont listen to it and youre comparing it to Queen and Led Zeppelin which are not only completely different genres of Rock but old school Rock. The new stuff today is on a completely different wave length.

linkin park is NOT punk rock its rock and rap sheesh!

Linkin Park is Alternative Rock mixed with New rock like tjbartz said.
LP has never been a punk-rock band, and never will be due to that they aren't currently making anymore music.
Don't say things that you don't know.

hey ferggsey i have heard of mushroomhead..i went to a concert and their sick.

recently ive been listening to rap music. i may be labeled as a skater pothead type of kid but i like rap. i also like rock. all music. even country. not all songs but a few. so i can say i like most everything. for rap i like all popular rap songs and i like some out there ones. im white and i know the dance for the song chicken noodle soup. if youve heard that song its the best and i like it. for rock i listen to korn(good exciting music before running cross country[yes i play runescape and run cross country and yes im good at it]) lol and all good rock out there...i like classic rock but dont know all the names to the songs, but i know the words lol

EDIT: after reading the posts above me, i can honestly say ive listened to linkin park. and at a time it was my "ish" but now its older but its ok. i wont dis anyones music.
