What does pure essance do?

rune ess = all F2P runes
pure ess = all runes (mostly used by members, that's why it costs so much)

it was a new update because of auto-ess miners.

personally, this update made me crazy because it had become hard to get good money from RCing

The fundamental problem is that rune essence was one of the few areas of the game which could be used to generate a reasonable amount of RuneScape money on a 'throwaway' low level free account. Normally to earn large amounts of money quickly you need to level up an account first, and then of course you care if it gets banned so our normal deterrent is effective.

We have therefore split rune essence to have 2 grades. Normal essence can only be used to make the six basic runes, whereas pure essence can be used to make any rune. You can mine both types of essence at the same place as before. The kind of essence you receive is automatically decided when you mine the rock. You will always get pure essence only if your mining is over 30 and you are on a members' world, otherwise you will get normal essence.

Rune Essance can craft all runes up to body, and pure essance can craft all runes.

Don't blame Jagex, blame cheaters. Also at 91 Runecrafting you make the same moeny as before:

they made pure ess as it is only accessable in f2p by buying from other players. This makes rune essence not as popular as it only makes runes up to bodies.

People would just create accounts and just mine rune essence by macroing to make their money, if they got banned they would just make another account and do the same thing

Yeah, the same speed. If your making f2p runes, I would sell the pure essence that I mine and buy normal essence from f2pers.

And people do buy natures for 340... But alot of people still sell for lower.

lol.... just trying to get it to 80 must be hell... I'd not even think about TRYING to get 91 RCing before i get a family made and a career started..

If only abyssal PKers knew the hell of runecrafting. But then nature prices would go down if the PKers stop because more people start abyssal crafting... and thats a bad thing.
