I don't think so, almost every cannons i saw hitted the same damage or around the same.

You can hit just as high as a lvl 3 as a lvl 99.

nono what i mean is, would i hit more wearing full dhide or not wearing it

doesnt matter what your wearing the cannon will have the same effect

I couldn't tell, but I think a jagex mod said it did. So, most likely not.
