im also level 23 and im f2p. im not a ranger (lowest stat) cuz its mainly a member thing (i can only use oak bows, steel arrows, and green armour), but i want to get up to at least 40. i got to 23 by fighting the monks at the monestary. they do no damage to you, and they heal themselves so u get a lot of exp. some times u can get up to 200 per monk if they heal a lot

heres what ya do get rangeing armor on, then you go to the mage circle with delrith south of varrock and kill them and they dont hurt you that much cuz there mages and you get to lv 40 in a hurry trust me lol

I quite agree with this recommendation. Besides keeping a good pace here, you will collect a decent amount of runes for your troubles.

You should use Iron Knives to train because their extremely fast and great xp.
