I think that is the best place. Why do you want 65 Smithing?

I would stick with the Dwarven Mines. Only other place I can think of might be a shorter walk could be the iron ores outside of Varrock, but I'm not sure.

Then again, I'm F2P so there might be better places in P2P. :|

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!1!1!!!!

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOOOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

DWARVEN MINES!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

Okay, I just mined 13k iron. I think you should listen to me on this one. Go to Yanille, there's a spot with 3 lined up iron rocks there. No one is usualy there plus it's close as hell to a bank.

Boom. You're settled for all your iron needs.

~edit: Here's t3h piccy for ye.

I agree with Bib User all the way on this point. When i was F2P, mining iron was a pain in varrock, but i love the north east of Yanille.. i'll probably get a lot of mining xp there after some other goals XD

North east of yanille. nothing else.

PS: plz dont tell everyone lol, i hate mining when it's crowded XD lol jk

You need to explore the Runescape world a bit more, then, if you truly believe that..

I was going to say, but he's F2P, then I noticed he isn't.

I myself prefer more remote locations that only experienced players visit.
(Yanille, Lletya, Ardrounge - partially at least, Port Phasmatys, Shilo)
