so what then did he just have 2billion in cash and the other billions in his rares?

Actually, there is a gp cap, and the reason that it stops at 2 and something bil is that it has something to do with the hex values. At 32 bits, thats the highest number that hex can store without needing more space, thats why there's a cap

I saw a discussion about this somewhere else. People were saying the money cap was 2 billion in coins. They were saying it was because of the highest interger in java coding. I don't know if thats true or not though.

technically, unless java becomes 64 bits or more, the money cap will stay as is. a bit can only have two values, 0 and 1, the only way is to increase the bits to 64 or more. that will need a lot of programming work to do.

unless they dont use ints

..or use BigIntegers, which can allow it to be infinite...i like BigIntergers.....make me happy...

Remember when jagex did a bunch of "under the hood" work?
Maybe they increased the max money amount!

If they released a mijigy that turned your 1 k piles into 1 gold plate the max mony would be 2147483647000
2 trillion.
Do that with million plates to then your talking 2,147,483,647,000,000

I would think like 200m like some people have said because that's as much experience you can get in a skill.
