Jagex Check List........ Lets See what will come out...

When runescape 2 came out jagex made a check list for future runescape updates.... Most updates have allready came out but some are still to come: http://news.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/r ... .ws?id=208

New areas:
A viking style area, including a new quest and town. <- Done
A large 'frozen lands' area including penguins, mammoths, polar bears and more. <- Not Yet
A pyramid quest in the desert full of traps, treasure and mummys. <- Done
A barrows of the undead area to explore and find new equipment. <- Done
Some good training areas designed for rangers. <- Not Sure

New items:

Enchantable rings. <- Done
More rare weapons and armour - including weapons with impressive special moves. <- Done
Armoured boots. <- Done
More clothing to help give your characters a unique look. <- Done (not complete probebly)
Special prayer book items which can be wielded in the shield spot for prayer bonuses. <- Done

New features & skills:

Treasure hunt mini-game with a variety of rewards, including some new rare items. <- Done
Summoning spells - summon skeletons, demons, etc...! <- Not Yet
A quest journal for you to read and recap what point you are up to in each quest. No more coming back to a quest after a break, and wondering what you are supposed to do next. <- Done
More random events, to give more variety, and lots of chances to win unexpected rewards. <- Done
More pets and followers with different properties and abilities. <- Done (not complete probebly)
Special organised game events on holidays. <- Done (Never End) Many new monsters such as Orcs, Lizardmen and more. <- Done (Never End)
In game versions of our boardgames such as chess and draughts. <- Done

Biggest features:

Player owned houses - Each player will be able to have their own unique house. Use the new carpentry skill to make new/rare things for your house. <- Done

Using the farming skill to grow herbs and plants in the grounds of your house. <- Not Yet

Build your own private party areas and shop areas, and more! <- Not Yet

Clan support, to allow you to optionally form your own clans with your friends. <- Not Yet

Mutiplayer castle arena for massive team based wars! <- Done

Randomly generated scenarios, where a new adventure is generated for you and your friends each time you go on it. Form an adventuring party and go on your own personal quest. <- Not Yet

Summon Skill will be nice, and farming in your house will help alot, The quest they make for you will be cool to see how they do it.

There is alot more stuff I am expecting that is not on that list...but that is a good start.

How about this:

Creating your own personal quest...for others to do...sort of like a dungeon, but more complex.

I think the frozen land was a idea from a long time ago i don´t know why they haven´t made it (it can´t take a half year to make a winter place, or do it?). In haloween i hope they will bring out a bunny suit

This was jagex rough plane........allot of things are missing

Also the last one is player made quest for there friends.

i think king lathas training ground for rangers is desinged for rangers becouse no melee attacks on the orges

most eyes will be layed on the summoning skill. I magine it'll almost be like a dwarf cannon

Yah that would be awesome if suummoning came out and it was like the dwarf cannon. Or maybe like you summon a monster and it follows you lke a cat but when you attack somthing it attacks too. and it has a certain number of hp. I dunno I think that would be sweet.

Also hoping for some new ranging spots and maybe a new bow or two to go with it :twisted:

I wish I could use king lathas training ground, but im F2p soooo nope. But when I see pics of it everyone is standing in front of the cage shooting in. This makes it hard to grab your bones and arrows and w/e. What you need to do is stand just inside the door so you can run in and grab your stuff after you kill the ogre...unless the door is one of those special ones that closes right after you walk in.

the frozen land is probaly the place where we had to do desert treasure. where all the trolls are, probably more to come. i mean even that king on misc said we went someplace cold
