Random Fire Waves and More?

In worlds 28 and 13, I heard that people were getting hit by random fire waves, killing them, or hitting high on them. Apparently, you could die if you logged in the Moss Giant Safe Spot in Ardougne.

I had actually went there to see what was happening, but, nothing seemed to be happening. I guess it had stopped. They even had a mod telling everyone that it was really happening and that they should bank their stuff.

I even heard about sitings of a random Air Strike and Telegrab over a building...

I looked on the forums. They only had 1 topic and it was a guy ranting and other players ranting and it was a HUGE mess.

Does anyone know anymore about it? I'm actually kind of curious. o.O

lol. I saw this on the RS forum just a couple of minutes ago,

It's fake. I've tested it. I've asked people on world 28 and nobody seen or heard anything like it
