Let me rephrase: I don't think they're capable of knowing who actually lost what. And it's never been Jagex's policy to return items lost during glitches.

I just read the interview on tip.it. It was lame, to be honest. The guy who interviewed Durial just sucked up to him. It was rather pathetic to see. You can't interview someone fairly if you keep giving your opinions during it.

Honestly I don't think it was an interview. He was just getting the story. We are also dealing with teenagers here. If you tell a potential interview they suck, there liable to give you the finger and walk off. I'd say the guy did what he was suppose to do...get the story, nothing more nothing less.

But a lot of other players saw the event happen. The point of the convo/'interview' was just to get his feelings on it. When you have someone encouraging you, chances are you'll glorify what you did. I would just rather tip.it conducted an actual interview which had more to it than settling for a "MAN, YOURE AN RS LEGEND SMILE" one.

Ya, but they wanted him...and the only way to get him was to suck up. No 16 year old is going to talk to someone if they are mean. He could have gone to any forum or posted anywhere. If tip.it was going to make him sound like an idiot he wouldn't have done it. As far as he is concerned, anyway, I'm pretty sure he views himself as a legend, and I think, regretfully, alot of other people do to. Like it or not, due to the circumstances I don't think there was a chance in hell of getting a fair interview.

All in all, the tip.it interview didn't have to be a suck-up fest and it didn't have to be mean. It could have easily went well neutrally. I don't think Durial would have said "omg, you're not kissing my ***. i refuse to go on."

That was the worst interview ever. The guy was an idiot, i actually shut down the window before i finished reading it because the interviewer was such a complete moron it wasn't funny;

Personally, if I had been in that situation, I might have killed 1 or 2 people then started thinking about the countless hours I've put into my account. Which I'm sure he's thinking about that right now. But he did what he did, and the interview is very biased, so I'm hearing from you guys....and gals, so I don't even think I'm gonna read it. But does anybody know exactly whats gonna happen? Is he banned or anything?

God **** it's just a friggen game. Nothing more. He's not ruining anything for anyone. If anything he reminded people that games are for fun. I remember back in the day people had fun playing games and didn't get ***** if they lost something or if they failed a mission. It's annoying but if your going to quit the game over some worthless unch of pixels then it's probably for the best. Have fun with games, you don't have to win at everything as long as you have fun.

Unfortunately, when you talk of runescape as a "game" you have to realize that people littlerally put hundreds of hours into accomplishing things. And to be careful and yet have it all taken away in the blink of an eye because some guy exposed a glitch...I can see why they'd quit and go do something else.
