How does Super Metroid beat Halo?

Good question. It's close. Very close. I'll break it down into categories:

Quality: Tie. Both games are of suberb quality, with amazing gameplay and perfect graphics. There's no way to choose one over the other.

Popularity: Halo by a lot. 2nd best selling game for xbox.

Influence: Metroid by a big amount. So big, that it almost takes Halo if it only had this category. Halo was nothing big for this category, since it didn't really have anything new for it's genre. Super Metroid on the other hand, was incredibally original, and influenced tons of games, probably including Halo.

That puts Super Metroid ahead of it, but not by much. The order of those 2 can be interchangable, but for now, Metroid will stay on top.

E-Baums world is the Most retarded place on earth. He stole other peoples work for his own benefit. no credit went to any of the flash artists. Photographers etc.

I agree since Metroid Prime was a shooting game for GamCube which didn't offer a lot of great or deserved shooting games at all. Halo fro Xbox wasn't such a huge sucess.

Halo was such a big success, what are you talking about? And I didn't compare it with Metroid Prime, I compared it with Super Metroid.

I didn't say they were both were bad, I agreed that Metroid Prime deserved better spot than Halo, becaue acutally Metroid Prime made good impression on GameCube, while Halo is still a good game but wasn't that impressive.

SUPER Metroid is ahead of halo, however both will drop soon also.

Why are all the "Senior Members" Double posting these days?

Counter-Strike fits well if you allowed computer games, a computer is techinically a video system, especially with a video card like mine.

Considering this is a greatest video game list, and I don't really consider that one of the greatest games, no, it doesn't really fit well.

How about Doom? It was really popular first person shooter back then. Also you should inlude more PC games. Warcraft was a great strategy game also.

I kinda forgot to make this part clear.

I have absolutely no knowledge of computer games. I've never played a computer game in my life that wasn't out for a system (except for a few) because I only really got a good computer that could handle them recently.
