Made during my lunch break

Lol. Today my mom made me work outside for a few hours, around the yard and such. So while I was eating my lunch, I decided to make a sig. Lol. I need to find a new text style I think I am overusing this one. But I guess my favorite renders are anime ones.

My thoughts;

It's too dull. One colour, not really much to look at. And especially for an anime render it looks odd.

Text, really stands out. Too noticeable, distracts the eye.

Render doesn't seem very well blended in.

It looks okay, but some things need improving in.

I dunno how experienced with PS you are but you could try tut combining. Thats what I did when I was trying to find my own style. Just grab a bunch of tuts and use parts of them in the same sig, the outcomes are quite nice.

As far as that sig goes. Monotone is quite plain. The text needs a revisit, that font is getting boring. Overall its not bad though.

Not that bad, but actually you should not make render and background the same color. Overall I like it 8/10

He uses Gimp, I believe.

Thief made a good point about using more than one colour to avoid dullness. Maybe you could leave the colour in the render?

Okay I changed up the render a bit to reduce the monotone-ness. I think the pasting the real render over the faded one and fading the edges gave it a neat effect..I guess..
