I thought about it. Although the desert treasure quest had a number of hard parts, like having to get through the entire ice area which constantly damages you as well that that pyramid that teleports you out just when you near the goal, I'd have to say that the monkey madness one was harder.

Why? Well, considering you spend a quarter of the quest in a town filled with enemies who score huge hits on you and send you to a jail with a poisonous spider inside, as there are a number of types of attack they use so prayer isn't overly effective, you spend another quarter navigating a constantly damaging maze which takes you 10 minutes of tourture and level 80+es doing damage ... not to mention those traps as well. And from there, cue the Jungle Demon who uses 2 types of attack and can score 30s. If you ask me, I think I'd fight 10 Damises with one inventory rather then have to do that quest again.

For anyone who says monkey madness is hard, read this.

I have done monkey madness on 3 different accounts, and i now find it quite easy to do. I also spend alot of my time on the island, ever since the Ape Atol teleport came out from RFD.I have every greegree, including the large Ninja monkey.

If you have prayer potions and Energy Potions then the quest is rather easy.

I have to admit with everyone about Monkey Madness being annoying. But was it actually that hard to do? It may of took a longer time because of having to run through the tunnel to get to that gnome. But if you really do think about it the quest itself was easy.

Now as for Desert Treasure. I havent done it myself because I hate quests. But all of my friends have told me how hard it was having to defeat those bosses. And how many times they died or almost died because they didnt have the right potions with them. So like I had said before Desert Treasure is the harder of the two.

Monkey Madness is pretty much the same difficulty whatever combat level you are. Desert treasure is only difficult if your under 100 combat i'd say, i found the hardest bit of desert treasure was getting the items and all the sub quests. Atleast in desert treasure you don't have to get around an island as a human, if you take a wrong step you'll get sent to jail.. Monkey Madness waaay harder. No doubt about it, if you compare the two in length and what you have to do.

I have to disagree. MM was more ANNOYING witht he fact you had to be a monkey and if you messed up you got sent back. It was annoying but NOT hard. It was simple trial by error type of quest. Easy to do just very annoying and boring.

DT was EXTREMLY hard - if anyone tried to do it WITHOUT a quest guide they will know it's the worst from the two. You didn't know what to expect, what to use, what worked what didn't.

Hell i went up that ice mountain and died - why? Because i didn't expect my stats to be lowered and my health to be removed like that, i couldn't even teleport.

I took the fire guy with my hands, eveyrone uses ice gloves now because the guides tell them to and they can use a weapon that way. Try doing it with your bare hands it's not easy.

Without quest guides it's the hardest one out there. With a quest guide it's a walk in the park..cause you're more than prepared.

Several people have done desert treasure at level 30-40 combat, regardless of whether they used a guide or not, if you can do it with the mere requirements it's not that hard a quest.
