I was doing some research today at school about Greek Mythology.. and i'm a die hard fan of Greeks, but then it hit me. All the fighting and epic battles the greeks had with the gods and titans, it gave me the urge to see what the max melee hit on runescape was. So i looked, and I came up with 92, has anybody else seen this or is it higher?

I got my facts from Tip.It.
The max hit came out to be 92 with Best Pot/Prayer/Weapon/Gear Overall

There has been an 200, reported on runescape community, saying an guy got dhoark full, super potted, low hp, prayer (attk, str, def all same time) with protect meele and he hitted an 200-the 200 are nbot hitted any where else but a mini game that wuz new sum thin, about fighting lvl 70s+ sum thin.... :roll:

highest ive seen was an 87

In the quest 'A Soul's Bane' you can hit 200's, though I suspect they're actually 20's with special effects.

Its actually ALMOST impossible to hit above 99. Because I'm sure even with a person fighting in full dharok against a monster with 200hp+ and they have a protect pray on they will die.

But I've seen an 87 screenshot before

the max hit is 92
without a quest
just a buffed out best gear hit
99 isnt a hit

Yeah, I heard the max was 92, some people were talking about it in the Fishing Guild. Some idiot said 56 -.- But yeah I'm pretty sure that you can't hit 99.

The max hit i've seen is 88, so I'm not surprised if the maz is 92.

same hear learning about the same thing i have seen 93

i think 100 is pssible on undead or something with salve and stuff

Jagex might make it higher in the future, they released those Barrows Gloves recently which increased it a little.

During a souls bane quest you can hit insanely high, but apart from that quest im pretty sure the highest is 92.

The max is a 92 just with regular fighting and no cheap quest help..

Yeah, it's either 92 or 93
In that area
Which'll basically kill a player in 1 hit anyway =]
If anybody has screenshots of people hitting over 70 post em
I've witnessed a 66 and that's it
But research has shown 92

Yea shame about the souls bane thing, is you don't get xp for it.. and it's just part of a quest so i don't see how that can count.
