Autoers.... Go AWAY!

Autoers are easy to tell

- Hard to Report Name
- Default Clothes
- Level 3
- Takes Same Path Every Time
- Doesn't Reply to Free Items
- Doesn't Reply to Trade Requests

Agreed. I have been reported numerous times on my lvl 6 miner. Then after Ive been reported, they always ask me if I am an autoer. I say no; they say sorry for reporting. I don't think that reporting alleged "autoers" does any good, because even though I have been reported many times, I luckily have never been banned.

Topics like this tick me off because most of the "autoers" that inspired you to create this topic were probably not even autoers at all.

But when you get a Level 3 who stops walking when you close the door on him, is essence mining continously with the same path with a rune pickaxe and 50+ mining as well as having default clothes and not talking it is a bit obvious

some people do auto which does spoil it for the rest of us but there are people that just have public chat off sometimes so you need to be careful.

Why do you care, I like it when people auto, they allow me to take advantage of their what you might call 'tainted' produce, to get my levels up at a fraction of the cost. Buying ess and flax for half the price? Not bad in my opinion.

But it is pushing everyone else out of the buisness kind of like the supermarkets and butchers, supermarkets (autoers) mass produce and can sell cheaply but butchers (honest players) produe much less and can't sell so cheap because it makes it pointless get pushed out of the buisness

not talking in public is a telltale sign. no autoers can talk. of course this will work against anti-social individuals but you'll get reported for autoing if you won't respond at all. unless you got messaged by a pmod or jmod who can bypass it and ask you first.

combat levels not a factor since there are autoers even at combat 126.

jagex clamped down on autoing since november when they started the dr ford random event. also, drop trading items from main to other accounts will mean perm ban on noob account and a 3 day ban to perm ban depending on severity of the offense. so passing anything from these autoing accounts to the main will get the main banned.

these players are gaining an unfair advantage over others by cheating. we can help by continually reporting these people. autoers will always move like clockwork. there is a sequence of tasks that it keeps on repeating.

my m8 sold a Yellow p-hat for pure yews when yellow was 80 mill

well even the rune essence automining was addressed by jagex. now only yews, coals and iron are worth selling to members for money.

OF COURSE they have to put a stop to it, I totally aggree, but putting another 100 randoms will ruin runescape, as it already has. They need a new way of the trading system.

My suggestion would be a window catagorized, like a forum, to the item. Say if you want a sword you go to this window click on the item u want, and a purple dot will show you where he is on the map or something like that.

Another rant I have is pking, if you try clicking out of the wild you end up attacking another person. (or trying).

Look back to rsc if anyone of you played it, the biggest random we had was sleeping bag's with a security code.... Now everytime you walk down the street you are running into a **** random :evil:

I've been seeing more autoers woodcutting now that the new ess update came... Woodcutting takes so long nowadays...

And i know they are autoers, as i've seen them get killed by random events, lost there axe heads and then keep logging out and logging in (because they aren't being active, but there program re-logs them in, i assume).... Default clothing... Names like "asdfqwer"

It's pretty bad these days...
