Its sub zero from mortal kombat if nobody knows....

That's not a sig, 800*600 is the size of a wallpaper!

OK; a few elementary mistakes that are easily reparable:
No border (both small and large)
Poor font choice (both)
Text draws attention to corners and away from main image (both)
Second text draws attention away again (large image)

The biggest thing that makes these poor is that basically you did a few gradients on a difference setting and then saturated. I remember when I used to do that too.

Yea I kno the text is lacking I just made it quick and easy. I coulda made my flames match if I used the Render of scorpion with his flaming sword. DAMIT I SHOULD OF USED THAT ONE!!! :lol:

Lol I used to make my sigs like that when I first got PS 7

First Tut I found and I just used it till I learned about brushes.

I like it. You made a nice background on that. The render is blended great. The text is alright. Good job overall. Just make sure not to use it as a signature because it is a little large.
