For me, this guy said he was having a drop party, and he told me to take a candle and follow him into lumby dungeon. I followed him and out of nowhere the candle blows and kills me ( I died because i only had 3 health left from a battle whith a shade).

When i died i lost a rune full, a rune scimmy, 275k, full ham, and white gloves and boots.

never ever follow anybody. if you;re going into dungeons, take your own light source. My friend used to try a similar scam with the zamorak wine. he would try to get noobs to take it. He actually signed up at this forum once, though i think he quit. People will do anything to get free stuff, even if they can earn five times as much by using their skills

This isn't a scam, it's called adventuring. You just forgot the proper supplies for adventuring. 8);

Yes you can't go into that dungeon without a bullseye lantern... and luring which may be ligit in the wild - is still scamming in my book. Lying is lying no matter where you are. As far as I'm concerned that is no difference between someone agreeing to a trade and changing it last minute. Telling someone you're helping them out and then ripping them off is scamming.

yea this is an old one by now with so many people that still do this luring scam on almost any major world nowadays, to bad it's luring and unfortunatly within the rules :x , like has been said dont follow anyone into a dungeon for any reason, if they're having a drop party a dungeon is not the most likely place to host it. :roll:

tho would be funny to purposly get lured in there with a mining helmet or bullseye lantern bagged then ask them why they aint dropping anything yet. :wink:
