Help, is there anywhere to hide and kill elvarg.

Hi, i am lv 48 range and can now travel to crandor, before i go i would like to know if there is anywhere to hide and shoot at elvarg as a ranger.

I know you need the shield so thats why i will take antidragon shield and crossbow, should i be able to kill it with that and an inventory full of lobbies?

there are some collapsed walls around the sides that i think u can use. I dd d slayer at lvl 59 cmbt, and i had a pretty easy time with the dragon. I think ull be ok with full inven of lobbies.

I did dragon slayer for my friend at lvl 46, but I had a full inv of lobbies and was meleeing her..so if I were you I'd go in there with no items and scout out a safe spot before you fight her

you should go warrior and bring str pots, or get 40 attack, get a rune scimmy, then go warrior and bring str pot +lobs

i really think its better to melee with him...

DO NOT do him as range.. the crossbow seriously blows. I was lvl 40 combat, ranger (45-50 somewhere), had to get a friend to bring more lobs for me to kill it.

Thx guys, im gonna get my attack to 40 and then come with nothing but lobbies str pots and the shield, i shoul bealright and lv 50 combat by then

If anyone would like to come and help me somehow like carrying lobbies for me then your wecome!

edit: what about going as mage, my mage lv is 35.

it would be hard ranging, but if i remeber right 10k respawns in the "cage" hide behind that and if that dosnt work hide behind some of the rocks.

i did it at lvl 41, except i was pure...

It was ment to be fought in combat, by using melee, so i have no idea if you can do it by ranged. I don't think there are too many safe spots, if any, and at that lvl you might be fried in ranged gear. I suggest, melee, but if you must range, then try scouting out osme safe spots with no items on first.
