Game Vs. Reality - None comabat skill only!!

i am compering some not all none combat skill only!

Out of 6 diffrent skills jagex had 28.5/36 items match to real life in the midle ages thats 79.16 i'd say jagex did a good job for a made up game!
please note i am compering the things from the middle ages.

(Game - Real yes or no)
Woodcutting/Firemaking:
regular tree - yes!
oak tree - yes!
willow tree - yes!
maple tree - yes!
yew tree - yes!
magic tree - indeed in the middle ages there where trees a bit bigger then yew trees and they where called magic tree because most psychic, back there they where called mages, used to sing and dance infront off

Woodcutting: Game vs. Real = 6/6 = 100% Match

Smithing / Mining
Bronz bar/ore - yes!
Iron bar/ore - yes!
Silver bar/ore - yes!
Steel bar/ore - very rare but yes!
Gold bar/ore - yes!
Mithril bar/ore - yeno

- it is a fictional material, thought to be real in the middle age though - so i give it yeno.
Adamant bar/ore - NO - its just mean 'extremely hard substance' its not an actuall substance
Runite bar/ore - NO -a completly made us substance made by jagex for runescape clasic

Smithing / Mining: Game vs. Real = 5.5/8 = 68.75% Match

Fishing/Cooking
Shrimp - yes! i eat them yum!
Karambwanji - no!
Sardine - yes!
Herring - yes!
Anchovy -yes!
Mackerel - yes!
Trout - yes!
Cod - yes!
Pike - yes
Slimey eel - no!
Salmon - yes
Frog spawn - yes! and people even eat it in places in the world
Tuna - yes! duh!
Cave eel- no!
Lobster- yes yumm!
Bass - yes!
Swordfish - yes!
Lava Eel - no!
Karambwan - no!
Shark - yes!
Sea Turtle - yes!
Manta Ray - yes!

Fishing/Cooking: Game vs. Real = 17/22 = 77.27% Match

Well they did do a fair job at it. Atleast making it in the time set its supposed to be in. There are a few things that are not meant to be there but overall they did a pretty fine job making the game. Not 100% close to reality but close enough to make it a great game. :wink:

if it was 100% reality i think that would be really bad and make the game bad.

It's not supposed to be 100% right. In fact, I'd prefer if they DID make it a bit more unrealistic.

number two i was only compering none combat skill for one reason, none combat skill where origanlly added by jagex to give a nice reallity to the game (NOTE MADE UP!) , i was compering this skills because i was looking to see if jagex did a nice job putting them in the game.

surely the game will be boaring if all we had to kill where men,women,gurds, and heros. thats why i did put them here, because it was never ment to be like that.

now please stop spemming, thank you.

They got the materials mostly right, aside from the fictitious ones. It seems a lot more feasible if you say that the time frames are representative of a much longer stretch, especially with things like chain mail and farming.
