Update Suggestions

well i have a few suggestions just things i was thinking about while bored one day finally decided to discuss them. Now i know not everyone will agree with these so no need to get all upset about it anyways here goes.

A runescape based clan system. Jagex makes a program or something on their site where you submit your clan, rosters and such and await approval. then jagex can rank the clans based on roster size, strength and war wins which brings me to my next point. All clan wars must go through jagex when there is a scheduled clan full out war jagex has seperate worlds set-up just for these events that the only way to be allowed onto that world is if your apart of one of the clans warring this would get rid of war crashing and allow us to have a distinctive universified rank system.

Dming- not neccisarely a world though i twould be nice but mearly a place in the wilderness where dms only. no watchers and stuff you go and set-up your rules and such * i know this sounds like the duel arena but alot of people seem to think the arena is bugged and would rather dm like me personally* so a place in the wilderness where you can set-up rules, pick number of participants and any other specifications needed.

The final suggestion though i know this one would e hard to do and would probably get some argument there should be a way to teleport you inventory to the bank. if this were to happen there would have to be rules and stuff like you cannot be fighting while trying to do this otherwise youd get people who were being owned in the wild take everything off and tele it to bank.

post your comments, as i said i know not everybody will agree so please dont flame just leave comment and such

i was thinking about that the other day its a good idea its should be a magic spell

My insights:

Your first idea about the clans is a good one. However, i'm not too sure how much time and effort the Jagex Team have concerning Ruenscape clans. They are, after all, player based and absolutely nothing to do with the Jagex Team in any way whatsoever. if they get involved, it's going to arouse a new fury of complaints from 'Hey my clan r0x0rs make it #1!' to 'dat clan sux take it off!' (Sorry, I'm new to slang)

Your second idea about the wilderness ... I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like that. They made the fight pits and the duel arena for a reason, and their points and, if anything, their worth would basically vanish if the wilderness became very similar to that.

Your third idea about the bank teleport ... bad one. It will give the rise once again to auto-miners and such who all they have to go is program the mouse to mine and teleport item over and over again. As much as I'd like to teleport good drops from the dust devils so I can fight a lot more, I really don't think this idea is going to help Runescape society anymore then it is going to hurt it.

On the third idea I think it should be a way to tele items into the bank but this will be almost impossible because there might be a glitch or somthing to go wrong. But if there was a way to give it to a npc like one of the wizards (can't rember his name) in the fremmy trials there may be a way to do that.

On the second idea I think that the wildi should just stay as the way it is. First of all space, if there was a world only meant for pk wars what would the rest of the worlds be for? It's just best to leave it like that and not add a wildi world. Secondly of all if there was a sort of wildi war there might be a way to have a little mini game like cws but there might be some sort of terms like " you will automatically loose 5 best items" or, " If you win each of your team members will get 800k, dragon spear, 8 magic logs ect ect.

the deposit box's should be in other places. i.e mining guild, karamja, etc, but this would probably make it too easy to make money or summat...

I don't think there should be a clan ranking system, but a clan support.... definately. Jagex is missing the support to player clans which other games offer.

The wilderness idea well.... go to fight pits?

And the bank teleportation, as said above will only hurt and help the autoers, there's really no need for that

And the deposit boxes, I agree they should be somewhere out of the banks ¬¬ is it really necessary to have them there with the bank booth right across? I don't think so

I like the idea of actually having accurate ranking though. Also having big wars on a seperate world would be nice but then again, there are so many clans that you will sign up and have to wait a long time until you can get one one of the few servers they would probably dedicate to this thing. Like Alex said, clans are player based so Jagex will probably lets clans be. The time they spend on making the clan system could be used on a new skill or some new quests or something like that. It would be pretty cool though.

The inventory teleporting one would be pretty nice. I would only agree with it if they made it 100% impossible to do it anywhere in the wilderness/duel arena and any time you are in combat. Mabye they could use the 10 seconds to log out rule with this also. I don't think this will be added though. It will just be another thing to make runescape players more lazy.

I am almost certain Jagex are working on this. The team capes are a sort of clan system.

I'm all up for new updates, some of what you've said I've seen countless numbers of times before though.

I'm all for the clan system, it seems a fair idea to me.

DM'ing system... That wouldn't really click. Just another Duel Arena, not really necessary..

However, I do like the teleport bank idea. To prevent auto-miners and woodcutters and whatever, you should have to enter your PIN every time you teleport an inventory. That's the only way I see it to fit in.

And to stop people while autoing and teleporting everything to the bank. Let them use 2 law for each teleported item.

And I also have a suggestion. I would love to see a spell that you can use to teleport to your favourite place. You would have to cast a spell to say this is the place I want to go to. And then you use the spell to get there. However it must use a lot of law to set a teleporting point, if you understand what I mean.

2 laws per item may be a bit much, maybe 30 laws to do your whole inventory, or 2 laws to do one?

I'd love the teleport to place spell, but I'd set it somewhere like the nature altar. Allowing incredibly fast nature rune making. =-\

That would be pretty cool but even with making it a large amount of laws will still be a bad idea. People can make tons of law runes and just make natures very fast. Make your place the nature altar and get a nice large amount of laws. Tele there and make them then tele somewhere close to a bank. Do that over and over again and it will be too easy to make the runes. Thats the only bad thing about a update like that.

I forgot that... Maybe they should add areas where you can't place the spell? Just like multicombat area's.

Or special spots where you can cast the spell.

For example;

There is a teleport obelisk in canafis, edgeville, shilo village, and certain other places.

You can cast a spell on these (Telestone 1, Telestone 2, Telestone 3 etc)

This could cost 30 law runes, 30 airs, 10 earth, 10 water and 10 fire.

You can then teleport to that place?

of course, Jagex could just add new teleport spell fors that, so I came up with another idea.

Using smithing or crtafting skills, you can make your own obelisk. Because of it's size, you can only put it in ceratin areas. You can then cast your spell on that.

. But there is just one problem with the clan ranking table thing, it will be hard to keep it accurate.

For the dming, isn't that what the duel arena is made for?

And I have nothing to say on the tele item thing.
