Slayer Masters

Ok, I just hit 100 combat yesterday (yay for thedraken)

Im currently doing slayer, turoths atm.
I just checked how many I had to do and :shock:

Duradel was speaking to me

Anyways, seeing as some of the guides on slayer only say the possible outcomes are metal dragons and kalphite (both of which I despise having to do) I was wondering if it was worth going to him for my tasks? Does he normally give those as a task, or is it just because the slayer guide writers were lazy and guessed?

Chaeldar or Duradel? Help plox

I'd stick with Chaeldar. She assigns kalphites too but not as often and her assignments never go over 168, and her other assignments are more fun.

for 100cb i would say the guy in shilo or edgeville, faster to get to, the one is lost city is stupid if you ask me..

shilo offers a very high number of monsters, sometimes you dont get what you want.. Edgeville usually offers monsters you can and would go kill, and usually a decent number.

i would say the one in lost city. She gives trolls a lot, and they're great for exp. The edgy one, meh, gives too many werewolves and hellhounds, both of which I despise.

Thanks, I'm not too bothered as to how many I get (more is better though) but as to what I have to kill. Vanakka gives me crocodiles all the time, therefore I dont go there, anything,lower gives me too little tasks.

Chaeldar takes a lot of switching, but generally I get things I like; such as bloodvelds, infernal mages, turoths and so on.

Things I dont like;

Metal Dragons
Desert Monsters
Any type of giant
Aberrant spectares

Anything else is cool with me, I just would like to know what Duradel usually gives, I'm not wasting my time changing tasks if he only gives things like metal dragons and kalphite...

Things I don't like....

100's of crawling hands and other monsters that give 10 exp each :evil:

I got so many of those it's scary. That's why i quit slayer at lvl 50.

dunno most people stop going to him after a few times as he does tend to give metalic dragons and other monsters that are just slow to kill no matter what lvl u are, best bets are the other 2 they tend to give tons of lower lvl monster assignments that give decent xp quicker.

If your after the fastest xp then go to Edgeville. That gives the best tasks for fast xp, especially if you have a cannon. If you want some slayer xp but are not training for fast leveling and you want good loot then Shilo is the way to go. It assigns the high level monsters that drop good items. I once got 102 black demons and got 2 rune 2 handers and a rune chain in that one assignment. :shock:

I completely agree with dave, this is how i do my slayer, sometimes for best monsters and drops, sometimes for fast exp. Both fast to get to.
