New Sig from Sarion

Edit: I got a new sig so if anyone else wants to rate its this one not my current one.

ok....there's a few things wrong with it.....

1. The word "predator" is lying on top of the border
2. The word "Sarion" is lying on top of the border as well
3. Blend in the render a bit more
4. It's too gray for me, i know it mixes well, but I just don't like gray...

I like the brushing, but it doesn't take a genius to point and click :wink:

I give it an 8/10

Hmm not too much of a fan at all. The text is pixelated, over the border in both cases, bad font choice, the color is ok on the Predator tho. The render is also pizelated and its not blended at all, blend it. The border could use some effects too. The background is ok but very boring and it doesnt match the render, add some color. Ill give it a 4/10 but Im being generous.

I like it!

The only thing I can think of is if you could adjust the colour levels. But even if you dont it still looks cool.

- Also, you need to blur the predator a bit more, doesnt match the background.

- Well, I'm about to make myself look like an idiot but after looking at it again ive seen your mistakes... You cant really see your name, try highlighting it more. Some advice - Do your border last, thats what I do.

Both. Yours is too.... pink... And his is too...pixelised and not-good-fonted.

Murdererdood, rating a topic due to personal tastes rather than graphical wellness is rather unprofessional and won't get you anywhere in the field of graphic design.

Sarion, though I mostly likely would've rated Priss' background the same, I don't believe Crysala was active in that topic. Perhaps you were looking to show Sarion that you weren't being harsh in your comments on Priss' background, just honest. Just clarifying that.

Nevertheless, as I always try to be, as two excellent critics Oh Four and Crysala are, and as more people should be, I'm going to be brutally honest. Sarion, you need a *lot* of work.

Don't use as many font styles.
Don't stick *any* fonts on the border. Keep them at least 5 pixels away.
You blurred way too much. If you're going to blend the render into the signature, only blur a few pixels in.
Choose a color style rather that goes with the render. i.e. Monochromatic, analogous, dyatic, etc.
Choose brushes and fonts that fit the render.
Don't just use brushes that you see in every sig.
Don't use fonts that you see in every sig.

I rate it 2/10. Don't take this too harshly. I've seen many great graphical pieces of art. Thus the reason I am harsh in ratings. I myself would rate a good portion of my works 5/10.
