GIMP

Okay if you do not already know GIMP is a free Graphics Manipulation program. Alot of people want to learn how to make sigs, but dont want to spend all the money it takes to get the top of the line programs such as Photoshop. So I would like to maybe get a sticky or a topic telling what GIMP is how to download it and maybe links to some tutorials such as a sig tutorial and a text tutorial and links to get brushes, etc.

Yes everybody join my anti-photoshop revolt. Me and hobbit were discussing how we want to force Adobe to go out of buisness and higher there old employess for minimum wage and will force them to wear I <3 Gimp to shirts :twisted:

I would certainly like to know how to make signatures. If everyone knew how, then we can all express our creativity. This is actually a good idea. I like it.

See. I already know I think 3 people who I have seen using GIMP after I started showing sigs I made in GIMP. Landspeeder is one of them.

So what exactly are you saying? Were are giong to get a sticky? Also this will also reduce topics saying "how do I make a sig".

Mmm. There's plenty of tutorials about and there easy to use. Shane sent me the GIMP link and i quickly worked out how to use it with a quick google search. And i've never used a graphics program in my life.

Plus that not everyone uses GIMP. I use for example Macromedia Fireworks 8. Maybe not the best drawing program but I like it.
