Would this idea work (calling all fleachers)

OK I'm training up a 10hp magic staker. (for all you who don't know i can only train my magic with non damage spells)

OK i don't know if this idea has allready been done (it probably has) but i had the idea to buy yew and magic bows off people at the high alc price - 300gp (nat price)

For those of you who still don't get it heres a price guide, buying these bows at:

Yew long bow 469gp (high alcs for 768 gp -300 for nat)
Magic Shortbow 660gp ("" "")
Magic longbow 1236gp ("" "")

The whole idea is me getting magic xp, the seller getting his money with out buying nats and having to high alc them.

Comments please on this idea.

It's a very good idea but it wont last to long... i mean if it's a staker then the hp lvl wont last to long.
And no1 gonna sell mge shorts for 660gp it's at 1k- 1,5k now.

So you're going to alc your magic lvl up? And how would you get in the magic lvl needed to alc?

Its a good idea, but those prices would be hard to find for the bows.

at 10 hits, it won't last. 1 mistake means ur dead....

confuse until you can weaken, weaken until you can curse, curse until you can low-alch, or you can continue. then just high-alch...

If he's doing that... Well prepare a couple of months worth of training. Remember that you can only can cast confuse/weaken/curse ones in a minute on a monster.

I already have lvl 55 magic (did confuse and cures till teleports then teleports till 55), i was just wondering if it was a good idea to buy bows at 300gp below the high alc price and alc them my self.

I think the opinio is that it is a bad idea, ty anyway.

Yeah, it'd be really hard to buy at those prices.

Yew longs are around 600 each now.

Also 10 hp means you'd die very very quickly in a duel, the only real way you could win would be staking meleers with movement on.

why dont you just get some one to make you the bows then you high alk them and then give them the cash you get from high alking?

i think you should get your fletching 2 70, but if you want, there are people who sell yew longs and such for like 450 each....
