The best drops.

This is a thread to discuss which monsters have the best drops compared to how easy they are to kill. This is only for direct drops, not complex processes or mini games. If you spam or flame or any of that I will have the mods bump you off.

When determining how easy they are to kill take into account both offensive and defensive capabilities. Also consider location (Wilderness, safe spots), slayer level requirements, best type of attack to use, and anything else you think is relevant.

When determining what drops are good be sure to say what you like to get as loot. I like to get seeds, especially useful ones like herb and limpwurt seeds. I also like unique drops like armored boots and granite shields. Someone else may prefer to get clue scrolls or runes, so they would obviously have a different idea of which monster has the best drops.

For me the best drops are from Turoth, though I expect that to change once my slayer level hits 80. How about you?

My favourite dro would be the d chain

but easiness:rarity ratio would probably be chaos druids (are those the one thar drop all the herbs?? i think i'm right)

1k to kill a lvl 13 ain't too bad

Since I am free to play atm:

Moss giants drop good and give nice xp/hour but they are always to crowded and are hard to train on in wildy + they don't have any great drop. I like getting blk sq from these to alch. 6.5/10

Lesser demons are great, they are in the lesser cage in high lvl wildy but nobody ever comes there so its kinda safe :p You can find steel plate ther to alch and body runes. They are being killed easy and drop nice amounts of fire runes + rune med helms. 8/10

I prefer Unique Drops, basically the drops worth the most $$$$$.

oh and also when u do finally get a unique drop whatever it might be, u also get plenty of other things whatever your facing

Yeh I'm the same as everyone else. I like to get unique drops becuase they are useful and can make ya some good cash most of the time.

If not that then I'd go with herbs to train herblore and to sell unids for cash.

i like hill giants since i'm f2p..
easy to kill
mad easy when you're high leveled cuz you can left click them
faster than other ppl
they drop 100% b bones
and arrows [3 iron and 10 steel]
coins are also good from them but other than that the hill giant is only good for quick prayer exp

the best f2p giant would be moss giant because whereever there are ice giants, there are ice warriors so that would be a con
the moss giant has decent loot
you can high alch the black sq shields and they give big bones as well
coins and runes come easily too
but a con would be the population factor, since it takes 85 combat to fight these without them attacking you first, it would be a lot slower to get the first hit

personally i like the hill giant because of the arrows and the fact that i'm saving again for my ranging levels.. [still at 48 rofl]
