New Weapon in the behind the scenes update

The behind the scenes said a new dragon equipment and a neew weap for each class so I'm hoping for :

A dragon 2h, with special: Always hits your max hit, so if your max hit with it is 30 and you spec, you will hit 30. Uses 55% of the spec bar.

As new weapon for melee, I'm hoping dual wielded weaps :p
As new weapon for rangers, I hope a dragon bow, lolz
And for mages a staff that can autocast the god spels, but you have to have the god staff in your invent. The staff costs 35k at varrock shop and has magic bonus +15

Also I hope they give dragonhide a nice melee attack bonus of -150 or something like that :p

Jen, read my previous post. There will only be a new dragon armour piece, the weapons will not be dragon.

i think it might be a new kind of frem armor/ weapons. think about it. doing the frem will give you assistance... must be something to do with them

i doubt it'll be another weapon, i like the boots theory but we now how unpredictable jagexx is but remember dragon scim, long befor it existed there were rumors that there was one, and couple weeks later they've made one, so there were rumors about the boots, right?

Dragon arrows would be cool, if not then dragon boots, or maybe 2h...

hmm... the d boots will probably be the "new drop" from the dark beast, or possibly abby demon. I think dhide is fine the way it is... its the only reason to go for melee/range hybrids

Beast probly, abby demon already has whip, and i would say maybey dragon kite or boots

Boots are kind of reserved for slayer monster. So, new drop for Drak Beast could be Dragon Boots. So far, range has never been given a boost. Highest hit with a rnage weapon (crystal bow) is below 30 (22 for me). While melee and magic can all hit above 30. I believe the new waterbirth monster is going to drop a powerful range weapon that can hit around 30 or above. Maybe it will be a Dragon Bow.

Range hits low, but it hits faster than other classes. Giving us a weapon that can hit as high as other classes would be overpowering.

Maybe it'll drop magic shortbows with the old spec rate

I agree with 'memental' it's probably going to be pretty bad, and if it's too strong there will be too many complaints.

Well, seeing as it is near the Fremenik Vicinity, I would guess at a warhammer. Simply because there is a shop selling them there *-)

However, Dragon Weapons are RARELY ever made just to be dropped by a monster. So I may be a peice of armor.

Think about why Jagex would choose to put this dragon item underneath waterbirth island.

Could it be because the *equipment* may have something to do with the Fremeniks?

Could it be that the connection between the update releasing *at least one new weapon for each of the three combat types* and the fact Waterbirth island has given us one new peice of armor for each of the three combat types?

Or perhaps, it has absolutely no connection at all? Maybe jagex just wants to make this drop incredibly hard to get and so incredibly over priced?

I seriously doubt the third question, but the first two may both be true.

They say one new dragon peice of equipment. Possibly warhammer, 2h sword, claws or boots.

I do not think any armor made of dragon, with exception to boots will ever be released. Jagex said with the release of barrows that they did not want to "degrade" dragon armor. (not exact words)

Dragon claws - Would be near burthorpe, due to the fact you can only make claws after doing a quest in the area of Burthorpe.

Two Handed Swords - Perhaps, but at the present time, there is no connection with two handed swords and relleka.

Warhammer - Most likely out of the possible weapons/armor. Relleka seems to like warhammers. However, there is already a granite and obsidian maul.

Boots - Unless this new lv300 monster is a slayer creature, this will be highly unlikely.
