GreatAxe in my opinion. It has power, not exactly speed,and with the full dharoks set you can 1 hit lvl 110's and below.
Whip would be the best if they didnt change the special.

It depends on what you are doing. If you are training attack or defense it is best to use the whip. Training strength is hest with the great axe if you can afford the whole set and afford keeping the items fixed.

Whip: without the full set, the great axe doesnt hit double and it hits real slow, so the whip will be better. If you use the full set, combine them, use whip and if you get low hp, switch to axe to hit huge, making them eat, spec and eat :p

plus, the whip doesnt require a set of armour to use its full power..cheaper and effective..

full dharoks people can hit like 80s not with whip.

plus

i was using a whip to pk and i saw a lvl 60 full a mith long and i go over and attack him.awile later i have to eat agasnt him am i like omg whips sck ...... so thats why u dont like whips

neither they are both a waste of money

whip is better tho, you dont hit 80 everyround, and you wont hit 80 unless your 2 hp and maxed melee (all 99's)

so yea.
