LOL Noob Scammer

Sorry just wanted to share that..
I think he logged off without me answering is because I reported him and he got banned or something..

I just wanted to know, how do YOU guys deal with people like these?

I report em and then wonder again why some people just have to try to destory the game. I wish everyone could just play the game the way its meant to be played.

I report them in the middle, then tell them a fake pass and ignore them when they log off to try it

play the game, make them miss about their identity so they'll see how stupid they are, give a fake pass, report, log off, use your noob character and add him, keep asking him questions and look like you believe that he is indeed jagex staff (ex. ask about new updates). Then ask about your 'friend', who gave his pass to a jagex staffmember and ask to ban him

100% embarassment for the nub :d

I've gotton a scam like that before, the guys name was m0d leo or something. and another one was someone with the name julywinner saying it's a bot and was going to put a special prize on my account if i entered my password...lol. I hate scammers, whenever I see one I report them. Once I got 5 messages in a row from Jagex saying a scammer got banned lol.

Good work everyone, I'm glad you're adhering to the rules. Reporting those people is exactly the right thing to do and I'm very pleased to see people aside from myself following the rules and making RuneScape a better place.

Yes, it's a great day when a password scammer is caught and annihilated.

I always tell people like that and the poeple who say things like, jagex blocks your pass see ****, that my pass is, yourastupidscammingnoob

ive gotten this scam before, his name was jaqex select (notice the Q)

Me:Really?
Noob:Yes, Would you like to accept?
Me:Do you always have to use proper english?
Noob:If your on staff then yes.
Me:Hmm...No then.

Me:Wheres your staff crown?
Noob:I dont need one since im the selector.
Me:Ok then, make me a mod.
Noob:First i'll need your password.
Noob:And your recovery questions, to verify this is your account
Me:If im logged into it, dont you think i know the password?
Noob:What did you say? im training.
Me:Cool what lvl are you?
Noob:Almost 32!

Noob:Did you give me your password yet?
Me:Yes look up in the text!

I love playing along with them. Keep them talking, don't give a fake password, don't tell them you've reported them, just keep them talking, reporting them for different rules every minute. Works a charm.

i agree to not talking to them, the less you tell tham you've reported them the more chance they'll get banned from people reporting them
