I CANT BELEIVE THAT! I JUST GOT HACKED!

I have 3-4 antiviruses, one firewall, and what I find? My character at the bank, with no money, no full addy, no gems, no jewelry NOTHING WORTH!

I had no PIN, but hey, when you delete it, it is deleted automatically!
Thats plain stupid, people don,t understand what it can do to people who are hacked... I was all happy today, and what do I see?!?

Argh, I return to psypets.

If you had a pin... And to delete you have to do some stuff, like answer recovery questions. It was your fault you got hacked. And people are finding ways to sneak keyloggers in and not be detected.

From now on you should put a PIN on your account. I'm a paranoid person, so 95% of the time I put all the valuable stuff that I am wearing in the bank.

Come to the RSBANDB Christmas Drop Party, maybe you can get a few things there.

I'm sorry you were hacked. Scan your system to make sure there are no keyloggers on it.

What do you mean by that? We don't have anti-keyloggers, but we certainly don't have keyloggers. Anyways, keyloggers must be installed on your system, they cannot simply run off the web.

Its a shame that some people just can't work for their stuff, they have to take from others. Anyways about the pin, like me mental said it takes 3 days. There is no bug to that so they must of guessed your pin (very improbable), you didn't have a pin, or you had the items that were taken in your inventory.

man that sucks. i got hacked and i lost 700k, full rune, some rune g, and full addy g. I was so mad. i hate hackers. :evil:

oh stop whining for urself....i just got hacked wjen i was at varrock sq, lost 4million gp 2 sets of rune 42 power ammys that i was selling, and thy dropped my full mime (apparently tried to drop trade). life continues, althoug
not for my hacker if i find him

When I had my first pin, i deleted it and i had access to my bank without pin right away...

keep the pin, set the reset delay to 7 days, i had it on 3 day reset, and as im away at the weekends, i got hacked on friday, hacker cancelled the pin, then logged back in on sunday when the pin had expired and took all my stuff, so 7 day reset delay, always have a pin, it may be annoying having to enter it when you log in, but it's worth it in the long run.

You must have calnceled it before the pin was set. Remember that when you first set it up, it takes 3 or 7 days for your pin to activate. Otherwise hackers could access your account and set a PIN on it right away, forcing you out of your bank for a few days.

Just a tip from me, but you should probably set up a safe newb account so you can store rare items on it. All you have to do is just make sure you set up a PIN on that newb, store your stuff on it, and you'll be fine. It's fine for me.
