I think he's talking about those robes you get in the desert..like menophite or something...I dont know, haven;t done the quest. Iv'e seen with purple/yellow and red/yellow..looks cool.

I do believe that you are refering to the prince outfit which you can choose to get from the Varrock Clothes shop after you get a token from the frog prince/princess random event. It comes with outpit and pants, and changes into a princess uniform when you switch genders through the make-over mage.
