Right when I was leaving for school, our neighbor is like 'CHECK YOUR CAR, SOMEONE BROKE INTO MINE AND STOLE MY LAPTOP AND WALLET'. So we check our cars. One was locked up and the other had stuff all thrown around. They ended up stealing a 50 dollar gift card from us.

Anyway, we later find out that they tried to break into our house. The side window to the house was twisted and bent off... My dad's wallet was in the garage, so they obviously didn't make it all the way in.

This was all while we were asleep inside the house. I normally lock all the doors at night, but I was up till midnight studying last night, so I just kinda fell asleep, and the backdoor and gate were both unlocked.

So anyway, the police came and dusted for prints, and they found a full palm print.

To top it off, two other various neighbors actually called the police earlier this week on reports of a suspicious person on a bike riding up and down our street constantly.

I'd say he's a suspect, but what do I know.

Creepy to think of someone trying to get into our house while I'm asleep in my bed.

This is why I like living in a relatively smaller town (25,000).

Police once came to my house. But it was for a different reason than for finger prints. He was fat. Fat policeman are funny :)

Weird. I have never had a problem like that. Hopefully that whole handprint will get the person arrested. :)

I really would like to see them arrested. I mean, they stole someone's wallet and laptop... not just change from their car, but something of big value.

Yeh true. Thats the only bad thing about laptops, they are easy to steal. Desktop computers are big and would make a lot of noise if someone was seatling it. Also sometimes it would be hard to get it out of is place.

All in all, the good thing is no one was hurt. :)

Someone breaks in, you shoot them. Easy.

At least you know he won't get away... but he might still try to break in your house again... Good thing i have an alarm system for my house :D
I would suggest to your dad " Buy a gun and an alarms system and new locks for all the doors"
