The Dark Axe

I've heard rumours of this new weapon that the dark beasts drop that exceeds the abyssal whip. Assumedly as fast as a regular axe (medium) and the strength is around the same as dharoks axe, if not more. Can anyone confirm this rumor of the next great weapon with a picture or something?

Kind of. The dark beasts in the cavern near the temple of light require level 90 slayer to kill, and are a very high level.

I have heard about the Axe as well on RS Forums. I think the Drak Beasts are Level 149. And I ahve heard the Axe is a rumor alot of times and also that it is a real weapon. So I cant say for sure but I have not yet seen one in game.

I've asked one of our mods here about since he is in on this kind of stuff. (Hello5000) He said that it is a rumour.

yep, its a rumor. jagex staff has currently NOT released any new items with the 90 slayer monsters, expect death tally. they are PLANING to relase new items tho. they said in a few days there should be new items dropped by the new slayer monsters.

im guessing it will be d boots or dark axe or maybe even both.

Dark Beast are lvl 189. Hit with Fire bolt and melee. Best drops so far are D med and Left half. New drop is just death tally. We are all waiting for the new drops otherwise all the hard work to train to lvl 90 slayer goes down the drain.

BTW : rushing to get 92 slayer as rumuors of Jagex releasing it. 500k to 92

Yes, dark axe is 100% rumour. Also, good luck on getting 92 slayer!

They drop d chains too dont they? its getting a bit stupid that 3 things now drop it, it shouldve stopped at the kq. People in full dragon arent even a rare sight anymore

Agreed. But on all of them the success rate isn't that high so... No matter what your gunna spend alot of time there.

Jagex wouldn't release a weapon as powerful as the rumoured Axe of darkness. Apparently it had +169 strength. That's without stuff like beserker helm :shock:
