Unbalanced (possible Wanted spoiler.)

When our dear evil mage if cornered in the essence mines, we realize just how unbalanced our fighting system is...

he had many rangers on top of him and used one spell, causing 70 damage to each and every one of them, after he had been teleporting all over the world. Rangers, shown by jagex, are extremely underpowered against mage. my question though, What would solus have done to say..vannaka or anyone wearing dragon armour?

well for one thing, he has been training magic for years, it isn't hard to see that he can become quite powerful. i mean would he really be a danger to society if he wasn't a very powerful mage? i mean come on when on earth is a mage going to hit 70 in 1 hit? not that likely.

What I would like to know is how he learned those Zaros spells. You don't suppose he learned from the same one who taught that demon in the pyramid or something?

yeah but dont you think those rangers have been trained with a bow since they were old enough to hold it? it just seems odd..

I think you all are taking it to litterally.. i think they made that on purpose so that it made the story more interesting

. So that you could defeat him and get his hat instead of a ranger doing it. But i do agree with trekkie, he hit an 88 on me leaving 5 hp left so, hes been training for a long time.

If you noticed, the ranger dudes were wearing white robes, ( and was it just me, or did those guys bear an uncanny resemblance to the Canifis slayer master?) white robes = no magic defence people!
