I shouldnt have dropped my ghostspeak right?

Last week I noticed I still had this item so I dropped it but now I think I did something bad. Does it have any utility?(I mean else than for the quest)

no the only f2p quest you need it for is the restless ghost quest

if you ever become member though, you'll need to go back to the guy and get it back (it's free)

you need it for the ghosts ahoy quest

For F2P I believe it is needed only for that one quest. However, If you become P2P, make sure to go back and get it, you'll need it for various tasks/quests.
