Relationships with High Levels 101

I hate it when people don't say thankyou for even the smallest things. Like when I give some guy a law rune or air rune, and they just leave without saying a word. Alex is right, a beggar is supposed to be thankful after receiving what he wanted, not leave without saying a word. But I guess if we didn't have beggars, we wouldn't have Runescape. I mean when I hang out in the F2P with my real-life friends who play, I get lots of beggars doing some sort of scam. Once I got "The runescape bank is low on money, plz donate to help it out"... WTF? How can a Bank run out of money? It doesn't even have money, it just holds it for people... I miss the old days where people say their 'please' and 'thankyou's. I mean if the person had asked for some money I would have but that is just silly...

You just hit the nail on the head as far as I am concerned. If the word "please" or "plz" is not in the sentence where help or items are concerned, I ignore them. That shows from the start they will not be grateful and have poor manners, and therefore, not worth my time.

Yes, but those noobs think we are ones. And most stupid is when I am started called as noob by higher lvls like 90s and 100s. I am richer than them, and own them too. y they think that if he is weaker (even if he is not) then he is noob...

High level morons = the reason all my statistics are on "Friends"

I got triple teamed in the fishing guild by a level 100 and his duet of idiots 81 and 78 respectively who went on a bashing spree calling me and my friend idiots and everything other thing because they took a joke between everyone too seriously (We were kidding around with a few other guys there and they popped over joined in, took offense and went bashing)

Double teamed by a level 94 and level 50 for having 80 wc, first I got called a liar, then when they realised I wasn't lieing (hiscores) they decided i'm just an anomaly and the world's biggest noob -.-

Then of course I got whooped on again in the guild for a little joke that 90% of people took the other way -.- Needless to say I'm uptight about it, pft to all those high levelers, I'm overdue on meeting a nice one and I probably never will now I'm not going to have my day ruined by a moron level 80+ murdering me for playing a game...

I might be one of the few that doesn't mind low combat people.

i dont really mind the lower level players in runescape... although i guess i'm only level 65... but yeah, i get told to leave when i'm mining alot. it's like they think they own the spot, and that anybody with higher mining should leave.

anyway, i dislike beggers... alot

heh heh, im level 90 at the mo, i only talk to people if they seem to have nice intentions, like asking me what my woodcut level is...

if they ask me for money i tend to ignore them or turn public chat off, i know this makes me seem cold, but i hardly ever run into beggers anymore...
i remember, when i was free, i was only ever scammed once, and it didnt work (the ol'trust test) i became member, upped to rs2 beta, upped to rs2, never got scammed again...

i visit rs free ONCE to see a friend, 32 people ask me for money/scam me!!! in the space of 1 hour!!! isnt that amazing!!! im never going on free again! its horrible there! no wonder free players complain...

p.s., i have a real life friend who once came up to me and said "hey me and a friend are gunna try and pass scam a couple people on rs today you wanna join?"

The jokes i can understand. They may take offence. Joke or not.

The woodcutting plff...i'd agree. Morons.

As for meeting a "nice" high lvl yea..im nice enough. :p

The only nice people in rs now are the vets with a few exceptions and maybe a few hundred of the new comers. Yea im generalizing, leave me to it.
