most parents will not blame their children or themselves. but the people who made it in the first place. remember all those stories of where players kill themselves cuz they lost something in the game and the parents blame the game

But ultimatly that is still down to the parents cus they got so addicted to the game that they killed themselves....Parents fault

And anyway, most parents ignore the ratings untill something happens, then they go winge and moan at the gamemakers, when ultimatly its the parents fault.

Oh, and btw, didn't Rockstar go bust a very long time ago??? and now someone else uses their name for the GTA games???

Not that im awere of. It's about time adults took the responsiblity and stop shifting the blame. There are age restricts on games for reasons. Just because a guy played a game and then went out and shot people doesn't mean it was the games fault if the guys gunna freaking go shooting people over a game he is NOT right in the head and if a game didn't kick this off then a film or something else would of.
I'm only 17 but my sister/mother will buy me an 18+ rated game any day does anyone see me flipping out and killing people? Beating them up? Reinacting anything? I'll answer for you - nope. And i delibritly go out and buy games that have been banned in places like america..just to show my own support for the game companys at an attempt to keep them making these games and ignore these morons that would complain if we played with a wooden bat and ball.

I am so sick of the crap we are getting i don't know about other countrys but here in England you can't freaking go out in a group of 5 without being branded a freaking thug! You can't sit indoors without seeing some MORON on tv saying "tv is evil" (yet this idiot decides to complain about it on tv is he not adding to the problem?!) "computer games are bad". For god sakes i see FAT people on tv complaining that ARE generation is getting to fat! GUESS WHAT SMART GUY? YOUR KIDS EAT WHAT YOU FEED THEM.

The adults of today are so full of garbage it's pouring out there dam ears they complain and complain yet everyday they add to the problem in some way. Yes i am generalizing now and if you're to narrow minded to realize i don't mean all adults then you're one of the people im talking about and should go see the doctor to stop yourself from having any more kids. It's a planet full of dam hypocrites to blind to see beyond there own nose!

Now excuess me im about to go shoot a few idiots in a rage i've just got myself in. Not because of video games mind you just because they have pushed me over the edge..then im going to run away to france and live my life as a mime.

GTA: San Andreas formerly rated as a M (Mature) game has been changed to an A (Adult) game
some guy sued rockstar and ended up winning and now its rated A which means u have to be 21 to buy it
this makes me really mad because i have GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas and am looking forward to another GTA but after losing the case, rocksatr, is doing really bad and may not be in a position to make another game
and if they make another game thye might lessen it down a bit and not make it as fun as it used too
EDIT: i also heard a rumor that san andreas has been banned in australia after this change but im not sure if thats true

so tell me what u think of this decision

#1 its ao
#@ its 18 for ao
#3 it ao for *** sceen high detailed!!!!!!!! get it through ur head

omg, man, in belgium are things more simple, the 18+ is putted there for parents, so they will know what inpact it has on their child, so if i want i can buy any games like postal or gta SA in Gamemania without being asked for my passport
And why does everyone have to sue rockstar(north) for this game that has succes? Bcause they're jelous, come on, GTA is not THE most violent game, just play postal and u'll see

THere are still other ways they could get the game: Downloaded off the internet, second hand stores, or from friends.

I do NOT hate RuneScape ok, I just came up with this because of the article in the news about GTA:San Adreas

Anyways I think RuneScape should be rated Teen because Andrew should have known that kids as young as 9 are playing RuneScape. Jagex Staff don't even ask you for age or birthday when you sign up for a violent game like RS! You don't want to be seeing kids running along the street, attacking random citizens with swords or other weapons just because they say "I"m training my combat/slayer skills"

You REALLY don't want this to happen do you while you're taking a walk along the street

A kid about 10 years old is carrying around a sword and he trys to attack you with it. You ask him "What on EARTH are you doing??!!!" He says "I'm trying to train my combat xp! Got a problem with that!" You look around and you see tons of kids attacking random people with thier swords.

well the rating part about runescape......zelda has swords, monsters, violence and stuff and its rated e

Runescape should be rated E for: Mild Violence, Use Of Alcohol and some comic mischif (Game Play Experience may change online which means if you have chats on then the expierence will be swearing, Sxual situations like guys saying things about how girls look....and stuff)
