hurricane katrina owned mississippi!!!!!!
yea mississippi is under water about 20 feet and other palces
about 100 ppl dead..1000 and 1000 of ppl have no homes no power
no water no food no nothin.... :shock:

o and new orleans in under about 60 feet of water...

Was slightly stupid building a city on a hurrican zone and under sea water level. But not knowing anything about American citys maybe they didn't realize at the time. Seems..bad that those people that decided to stay in the city are now being made to leave anyway..risking there lifes for nothing. If you ask me the whole place should be abandonde. I know it's extreme..but a hurrican is hardly going to avoid the place..and it's just gunna happen again.

The construction business that built there didn't care if it was going to be wrecked by hurricanes, they just wanted their money. Thats all the world thinks about now, money, money, money.

Still sucks for all those who pretty much lost their life.

creepy for one, its not under sea level
also new orleans and other gulf coast cities were built in the colonial days for ports and shipping so its really not really anyhting we can do about it being built there

but yeah i used to live there...glad im not living there now =/

the aftermath of katrina is bad because people will be out of power, fresh water (the salt water has contaminated a lot of the water), phone lines, water lines, etc.
also which is really bad is that now that part of new orleans is flooded and police are trying to get everything fixed, so people are looting and stealing from shops because the police arent able to watch everything now
