A few questions....

Yes, it's me again... with more questions....
1. What is the fastest way to get smithing exp? [Doesn't matter about the profit/money]

2. How many ores can the Lvl. 43 Magic spell - Superheat Item smelt?
Does it only smelt one bar? or as many as you want?

I am f2p.. if it makes the answer to question 1 any easier..

Smithing exp is the same with anything you make. Plates only give you more because it uses more bars. I got bored one day and figured it out....You can make anything you want and you'll get the same experience....but plates do use up more bars at once so I guess you could consider it faster....

..that was, until cannonballs got nerfed... not that it matters to f2p.

Just smith the highest metal you can.

And superheat item heats ores one at a time, never fails an iron bar, and will make the highest it can with the coal in your inventory (i.e. steel if you have the coal, and iron if you don't)

Until you get level 48 smithing, keep making bronze platebodies. It may seem noobish but the ores are really easy to get unlike the iron (once it gets busy you get the high levels just taking it all the time). Also iron bars fail, so if you've mined 1000 iron ore you'd probably only get 500 bars out of it.

Then once your level 48 make steel platebodies until your level 68, then make mithril platebodies til your level 88, then make adamant platebodies until your level 99.

I've been doing what Hello said. Making steel plates is good becuse steel bars are easy to get and the played high alch for good cash.

Dude, the simpliest cheapest and best xp is to buy coal for 100 each buy 2k off this) and buy 1k iron for 60 each (this comes to about 260k-360k) then smithinto bars make into plates and sell, you lose a little profit but its great xp.

1. smelt lots of iron and/or steel and make arrows =) lots of cash too...

2. superheat makes 1 bar everytime u use the spell... if u have only iron, 1 iron bar, but it can fail if no ring of forging, but if u have 2 coal, it automatically makes steel for u...

Superheat can't fail iron last time I checked... You don't need a ring with that, only if you do it on the furnace.

high alch for steel 2h is 400 gp
but steel plate is 1200 gp =\

Steel 2h high alchs for 600gp - needs 3 bars....... 200gp per bar
Steel Plate high alchs for 1200gp - needs 5 bars.. 240gp per bar

not true about the 2h's
