How many times does it take?

I've reported so many people and it never bans them, how many times does it take?

You'll eventually get a message from jagex (in your message centre) if they do anything about it...I've sent in so many reports but only gotten 2-3 messages...I just gave up on it...if someone falls for a scam...it's their own **** fault...

why do you take pride in other people getting banned?

yes it's good scammers and co. get banned but no need to show such joy. anyway its probably because you reported them more then 60 seconds after the event.

Why shouldn't we? It's such a rare occasion and they deserve it.

They barley EVER ban people. I never report anyone unless it's a direct attacking on me even then i rarely do it..just a waste of time they don't even bother sending auto response messages to your reports anymore!

^^^^ Yep. You scam? You get A SINGLE BLACK MARK. That's a one day ban. Wow nice one jagex..it takes you freaking 2 weeks to spot a scammer and you ban him for a day. Then two weeks later they might give him another..or let him off. I believe a second black mark is a weeks ban..then he carrys on all the time drop trading his "loot" to his main and getting away with it. It's fool proof. If i wasn't above cheating children out of pixals i would do it myself.

Jagex is pretty loose with the bans.
Basically you can scam all you want and get away wit it.
I dont, im one of the good players whos never tried it
(if you dont count me begging at lvl 3

there have been so many topics about banning people lately. to be honest i wouldnt even bother reporting anymore..i dont like to downgrade jagex but they really couldnt give a rats about your reports and are extremely loose with bans that should be permanent. no one knows how long it takes but my vote would be an infinity in most cases because they often never ban people no matter how hard you try
