Ok this might seem a slightly stupid thing to get botherd over but meh it ticks me off..WHY can't i do a £ sign anymore? I can do doller (which is useless to me) but not pound? What the hell is wrong with you jagex you ARE an english company and taking away my £ sign is just stupid i don't deal in american dollers last i checked 1 doller was like 75p so give it back.

Most Keyboards have the dollar sign, but not the pound sign. Maybe that's why they took it out?...Idk, maybe they just had complaints over it, though I don't know why they would.

i dont really use any money signs when i play rs, but i guess it is kinda weird they removed it...

perhaps u can learn how to turn pounds into dollars (mabye its eros or watever, idk lol i live in amarica

the dollar sign is a common character in many coding languages, thats prolly why its included, and pound is not.

all i know is the ALT + <numbers> way, and i dont know the code for pound

like examples...

¢ = ALT + 0162
™ = ALT + 0153
§ = ALT + 789

Alt + 3 = £

If you're American it wont work because you're using an American keyboard.

Whats coding got to do with it..? They had the pound sign before and if real life money isn't part of the game remove all money signs, just to be fair.

Still no reply from jagex. It's there prioritys..they put "idiots that try cheating on are game and get hacked and lose there account" up top and deal with them first..my matter isn't very important but it's been almost a week. -.-

to many lil kiddies could use them both for bypassing the filter if they thought about it, they should just remove them both or maybe code it so that when typed both the symbols appear as a uniform runescape cash symbol of their own design.
