The Witcher series

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you guys have played/enjoyed games from the Witcher series.

Since the release of The Witcher 3, I have put some hours into the first game of the series, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, on Steam. I have apparently put 38 hours into it (I have slowed down since I've restarted playing on my ironman account while also playing on my main...), and I enjoy the plot and universe quite a bit. The gameplay is kind of old, it didn't age very well, but I think I'll push myself to finish the game so I can start the 2nd game and enjoy the series even more.

So, if any of you have played the game(s) before, what did you think of them?

i loved the first one. for me, it was awesome. however, i just cannot get into the second one.
Haven't bothered getting the 3rd yet, i want to finish the 2nd before i start on the 3rd. we'll see.

Played a little of the first. Didn't get too deep into it, but I thought it was a solid game. I'm not big on action RPGs as I like to be completionist and finish every little side objective and task. But I thought it was fun and had a good story line.
