it doesn't look anything like the old one. it looks completely dumb down

I rather liked the demo. ME2 was apparently "dumbed down" as well but that game was 10X better than the first i think.

I also really liked the demo, the actions of the character were much more fluid than the first one. Of course, I love the first one to death as well. I'm going to wait to get DA2, as there's going to be a lot of DLC released probably, and I'd rather get them all at once.

It looks cool. Now that DA2 is out, I think im going to buy the first one since it will be cheaper, beat it, them get this one.

nah Dragon Age 2 doesn't look even as close as da1. lots of graphics that could have been highly improved to hell. no reason to have a super computer and not use it to the max.

finished it, seemed to lack alot that was solid in the first, but considering it was built to be console friendly it had to be dumbed down, but also seemed rather broken at many points hopefully they fix alot of it with any dlc patches and what not.

that was the problem. since it was so dumbed down, pc players like me who tried it, the controls were completely crap. was better to use a controller than with mouse and key.

doesn't look as good as the first one and lacks depth. and considering you took roughly 3 weeks to finish also says relatively short the game is. i took at least a month to finish up DA1, almost 1.5 for me2 the first time around.

only took me that long cause i was still finishing the first one that i had just picked up 2 weeks prior to this 1 being released. 3 weeks on da:o + awakening, week and a half or so on da:2. granted some of the flaws could be attributed to them trying to remind u that it's merely another of varric's slightly exagerated storytelling methods.
