Jagex to make transformers MMO

Hmm..this must be like there fourth MMO in the making. All at once. Jagex really doesn't have that many staff...certainly not enough to cover all those MMO's i wouldn't of thought.

Typical joystiq ****** bags on there though. I see the smart poster gets down voted over the troll yet again.

So that's the fourth MMO.. They've been working on it for a couple of months already. Could explain why both FunOrb (Last message Sep 2010) and Stellar Dawn (Last message Nov 2010) are abandoned.

-.- they need to just stick with runescape. RS is still flurishing and even getting more people each and every day. Why stray away from that which makes you millions already.

another thing is everything they have came out with other than runescape has bombed badly. Im not saying this is gonna bomb but.. it doesnt have high hopes in my book

Problem is Runescape is a failed effort in my mind. At least that's my opinion. TIME TO MOVE ON, PLOX!!! Start fresh. And don't make the same mistakes. I'll take my chances with a new game rather than the same old Runescape which now is worse more than I thought it ever would be.

Runescape is a failed effort yet hundreds of thousands of people still come on it each day or more? Thats like saying crack is a failed effort of the drug world.. Yes theres other drugs out there but its still one of the ones most used by addicts.

If Runescape was like crack, that would be about the cheapest form of crack available. And just because 12 year olds on Runescape haven't discovered better games yet doesn't mean that it's a good game. Sure, it's fun, but it sucks. Why go for the cheap stuff when the new stuff is so much better?

I could be playing wow duke lol. What keeps me from doing it is I like playing rs so much more. There's more people than 12 year olds that play rs too man. Look at Shane, uncle dano, and me. We're all above 21 and still play because it is just a great game.

As for why there trying to do more it's because RS is there only money maker. And it's not growing it hasn't been for years. Just seems to be holding steady. Gotta expand to survive.

Jagex must realize that the game is close to an end and the fact that they brought back free trade and wilderness just to get more money in their pockets validates this statement. They tried to cover their butts saying that the can monitor RWT and Bots due to new "Detection software", but from the amount of bots i have seen lately i would say that this new "software" of theirs is failing quite badly. Therefore they are looking for the next big thing as a safety net, because as soon as this hype dies down they sure don't want to go out of business.
