Someone needs to point out to activision they've made a snowboard not a skateboard or their going to look very silly. I bet my two legs, my left arm and my own manhood that you can buy a decent skateboard and actually you know; skateboard for the price there going to over charge europe for that snowboard.
Not that I'm daring to complain though everyone in Europe that's to scared of cutting themselves IRL is going to buy it anyway.
Would be good to know how that thing actually WORKS before making any assumptions.
I only need to look at guitar hero to know several things;
It'll be over priced.
If it proves to be popular you can expect 10 games under the same name in a year, instead of that money being put into original games.
Guitar Hero is not over priced, Creepy. You just have a very biased opinion that just because it involves a fake instrument is that it's crap. For those who are skilled in it (Me, Alexandr, other people), it's very fun and it's a good hand exercise.
I was a big fan of the "Tony Hawk's ---" games, and I will probably buy this one. I bought THP8 a couple of years back, enjoyed it, but stopped playing it because it was so **** boring after you beat it. If they're going to make a new TH game, then they better fix that. I enjoy Free Skating to a point, but once it gets so **** boring, it just makes you want to put the game down and play something that NEVER gets old, like Call of Duty 4.
Not looking forward to it, not worrying about it. I could really care less.

Props to them for putting the DVS skate & create clips in there, and a section of Hot Chocolate, but seriously, I'd rather have ea skate. 1 than any of the tony hawk games.. they just aren't particularly fun, and you don't get that sense of achievement like you do in ea skate. Whats also funny is they've pretty much just copied ea skate it for the wii here, just for different consoles. :/
Think I'll pass on this one. My favorite part of these types of games is that I don't actually have to do any work. If I actually wanted to skateboard I would go outside.
Would be good to know how that thing actually WORKS before making any assumptions.

Guitar hero:
A 5 year old can do it. Skill? No. Unless you want to admit to the world that a 5 year old girl is superior to you. Good memory? Sure. I can admit shes got a far superior memory to me. One difference between guitar hero and that game actually; She wont be rebuying that year in year out because it's got britney spears face on it or something.
*whistles*
ANYWAY i liked the old tony hawk, this one wont be as over the top and crazy. I can't see you flipping out a tower or something on that snowboard. Tis true that they've ripped this straight off from EA, i'd forgotten about the wii version.
Have you even played Guitar Hero on Expert? It takes a crapload of skill.
...Explain whats the difference between pressing the coloured buttons on your game controller to pressing them on that machine. And please do not say it goes faster. First time i tried to tie my shoes it took awhile, Now I've learnt how and memorized it i can do it in no time now. Doesn't mean I'm anything special.
EDIT: NO. NO. I'm not getting into another gh argument. I've proved myself to be correct time and time again, back on topic people all GH comments i shall ignore from now on.

This is going to be a complete failure... Skate is and will be from now on the superior skateboarding game.
Also, with the exception of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, IMO they need to stop making peripheral games. At this rate, it won't be long till we see CoD whipping with a gun peripheral.

I suggest two things;
Make a GH debate forum or ban GH from the site.
Not this argument again. If you really don't remember, you actually proved yourself WRONG (In your own blog post, too!) in that last argument - I still have those blog posts up even though Mike told me to delete them, lulz.
Anyhow, I don't feel up to doing this again here on the forums, so I'll rest my case with this:
You can't seriously say that it's all memorization, ha. And on another note, how did I 100% a song on first playthrough? I couldn't have memorized it.
You're free to not like rhythm games all you want but PLEASE keep your ridiculous opinions to yourself. NO ONE agrees with you.
I'll admit you're right when you find a person who's beaten GH3 career on expert and who admits that all it requires is memorization and timing. But until then, you're just horribly biased.
EDIT: Stop ignoring me! I'll automatically win if you do

I'd like to agree with you but i think Activisions marketing power and the tony hawk name is going to pull through sadly.
3 things to add 1. id rather go skateboard in real life than play this game 2.skate it for the wii si soo hard on the balance board so i wonder what they will change 3.and im sad they are making this cause i played tony hawk to do stuff that was impossible to do

How the bloody hell would you use the buttons on the side if you're standing on it anyways? I mean, ollies only really work if you're moving, in real life, how would the thing jump up if it's on carpet?
