Favourite Videogame Music?

What are your favourite songs or soundtracks from a videogame?

I don't really have a favourite song (it would be impossible to choose) but I do have some favourite composers and one soundtrack.

Silent Hill Series - Akira Yamaoka

Donkey Kong Country

Final Fantasy Series - Nobuo Uematsu

Ahh, yes. Silent Hill's music is amazing. When you're playing the game it sure gives it that creepy feeling.

I, personally, like Call f Duty 4's music. I like all the music in the campaign and in the multiplayer. And the kind when you're in the lobby. I also like Gears of War's music, too.

I think the Oblivion soundtrack is quite good. Most of the music really fits the theme in the game, like when your being chased, the music changes which is really cool.

Yeah, Morrowind had great music too. I really like Oblivion's as well.

I love BioShock's. I especially remember going down the first bathysphere and also when you get to the part where they had the new years party. The creepy 50's nostalgic style really fitted the Rapture atmosphere perfectly.

The Music on the Halo games and the Pokemon games have to be the best

I thought the music in all the Star Wars games was pretty cool until I heard it 5,000 more times. Only game I remember in particular is Lost Odyssey (yes I KNOW the characters were ruined, but the music's good - same guy behind FF). Some of my favorites ...

(Almost got to a point where I could play this on piano)

EDIT: Now that I think about it ... GRAW had some pretty awesome music too.

(IMO good stuff starts around 3:00)

Other games I like the music to are Mass Effect, Halo and Rainbow Six Vegas 2.
